Jim C. McGough

Among other areas, Jim C. McGough enjoys practicing law in the areas of adoption, criminal defense, business law, estate planning, guardianship, and probate. Before founding Welsh & McGough, PLLC with Catherine Welsh, Jim served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office. He prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases including drug crimes, DUI’s, manslaughter, bogus checks, and domestic violence. His trial experience and skills are vast. He was a director responsible for several divisions in Tulsa County, a large state prosecutor’s office, and was awarded the Misdemeanor Prosecutor of the Year. He currently serves as the Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Collinsville, Oklahoma.

Jim also has extensive business and leadership experience, as well as senior leadership positions in the government legal sector. His experience in the business public sector includes various management positions, including Vice President and General Manager of a multi-million dollar regional sign manufacturing company, and as General Manager an executive for a large commercial printing company. Jim is a graduate of both a three year Management Development Program at a publicly traded corporation and the 2011-2012 Oklahoma Bar Association Leadership Academy.
